The Wholesale Warehouse will accept credit cards from Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. We will accept debit cards that have the Visa or MasterCard logo. We will also accept payments through the PayPal system. With special permission we will accept checks and money orders that you would mail to us, but only on a case by case basis. We reserve the right to refuse a form of payment at our discretion.
Our website is not as fancy as Amazon.com and the rest of the big guys that are out there, but we take the same precautions with the security of your credit card information as they do. We use a company called GeoTrust to provide us with a Secure Socket Layer (SSL Certificate) of encryption to prevent anyone from seeing the information that you provide to us in the shopping cart during the check out process. The SSL Certificate makes sure that all of your personal information (name, credit card number, address, etc.) is encrypted before being sent out across the internet. The level of encryption that we use makes your data impossible to read by anyone, but us. The SSL Certificate, provided by GeoTrust, has 256-bit encryption, a 2048-bit root, and assurance against loss up to $100,000. As of 2011, GeoTrust SSL Certificates were used by more of the top 1,000,000 websites than any other company in the world!
Last year we processed over 15,000 combined credit card transactions through our brick and mortar locations, telephone orders, and online stores. If you place an order with us over the telephone we will not keep your credit card information on our work stations, servers, or on any paperwork in our office. Your credit card information (card number, expiration, security code, etc.) is securely discarded after it is processed. The information is destroyed immediately. We do not store permanent records of your credit card information. Some companies will retain this information for your convenience, but we feel that the security of your information is first and foremost. It’s how we like to be treated when we shop on the internet and we apply that same mind set to how we run our business.
